About UK Pension Planner

Free, accurate UK pension calculators for 2026/27. No sign-up. No data stored. No financial advice.

What this site is

UK Pension Planner is a free collection of pension calculators built for UK residents. Every tool uses verified 2026/27 rates from HMRC, the Department for Work and Pensions, and The Pensions Regulator. Each calculator runs entirely in your browser, nothing you enter is sent to a server or stored anywhere.

The calculators cover state pension forecasting, workplace pension projection, drawdown planning, tax relief, salary sacrifice, annual allowance, and more. Each tool includes plain-English explanations of how it works and what the results mean, written for people without a financial background.

What this site is not

UK Pension Planner does not provide financial advice. The calculators give you estimates based on the figures you enter and current published rates. They are a starting point for understanding your pension position, not a substitute for professional advice.

Nothing on this site should be taken as a recommendation to make any particular pension decision. Pension rules change regularly. Rates, thresholds and legislation are correct for 2026/27 but will be updated each April. Always verify important figures with HMRC or your pension provider before acting.

For personalised pension advice, consider speaking with a regulated financial adviser. You can find one at unbiased.co.uk or vouchedfor.co.uk. MoneyHelper (formerly the Money Advice Service) also provides free, impartial pension guidance at moneyhelper.org.uk.

Privacy

No personal data is collected, stored or transmitted by this site. Calculations happen entirely within your browser using JavaScript. We do not use account registration, cookies beyond what Google Analytics requires, or any form of user tracking beyond aggregated page view statistics. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

Accuracy and updates

All rates and thresholds are reviewed and updated at the start of each tax year in April. Key sources include the HMRC website, the DWP state pension fact sheet, The Pensions Regulator auto-enrolment guidance, and the relevant Finance Acts. If you spot an error or an out-of-date figure, please use the contact form to let us know.
